At night ARISAI lit up quite spectacularly lighting the whole street beautifully. I was extremely impressed. The mix of both the building and modern advances was breath taking. The restaurant is extremely cute and the concept is executed quite brilliantly.
The furniture and wine decorations make you feel extremely comfortable. The lounge music is exceptional and the food was just the icing on the top of a beautiful night. The food was delicious but I was fonder of the style and the feel about ARISAI.
To the designers, the creators who selected the food, wine and music, I don’t say this often but well done!!

Intimate, chic, yet unpretentious, ARISAI occupies two floors of a 100-year-old shop house. Its superb menu exemplifies the best of Mediterranean home cooking: simple and soul-satisfying. The favorite here is Couscous with Lamb, merguez and homemade harissa prepared with a special 20-spice blend imported from Morocco.”

ARISAI is a great new restaurant for good Mediterranean food. Set in Luang Prabang's old town, it is a great option for small party (less than 8 persons). Opened by a native who studied in France, ARISAI is part of a wave of restaurants bringing modern cuisine to Laos. It is the place to go for those looking for a wide selection of wines to accompany their dinner”.

Exotissimo travel review, March 2008

ARISAI was recommended to me by my hotel's concierge. I was not disappointed! We really enjoyed the very tasty home-style cooked food, cosy atmosphere and friendly service. The prices are reasonable too. We loved Luang Prabang and we plan to return again. We'll definitely have dinner at ARISAI.”

Gaydar travel Guide, top rated restaurants in Laos 2009

Christmas Eve dinner at ARISAI in Luang Prabang was spectacular. ARISAI is a cute small restaurant on the main road. I had the delicious Provencal wild boar daube.  The boar was local. Boar, if you don't know, is technically a wild pig, it’s really a magical animal that combines the tastes and textures of beef, pork, and lamb in one meat. With wine and tip, our bill was $40-something.”
